Trip INFORMATION

Squamish is one of the best places on earth for multi-pitch climbing, with its grippy granite and fantastic views of the Howe Sound. There’s no better place! And with our fully certified ACMG guides, you couldn’t be safer as you scale the rock.

We are also very lucky that Squamish offers multi-pitch climbing for all levels. Why not push yourself & climb all the way up the Stawamus Chief? With options for beginners to experts, anyone can do it! Whatever your fitness or climbing ability, there’s a perfect multi-pitch route for you!

What's included:

  • Almost 700 metres of climbing
  • Up to 21 pitches!
  • Epic views of Squamish and the Howe Sound
  • All safety gear including ropes, quickdraws and trad rack

  • Not recommended for first time climbers, although multi-pitch climbing experience is not required. If you are new to climbing we suggest booking Single Pitch Climbing instead.

While not essential, a Rock Rescue course is beneficial when climbing any multi-pitch objective.

    Meeting time: 8:30am
    Meeting Location: Apron Parking Lot

At the meeting location you will meet your guide for the day, sign a waiver, grab all your climbing gear and discuss the outlook for the day.

    Climbing time: 9am-4pm

There are various route options, so climbing time depends on fitness level, route choice and how busy it may be. You can either choose a route, or have the guide choose for you.

    Route examples:

  • Diedre (5.8) > Boomstick Crack (5.7) > The Butt Light (5.9) > First Peak (approx. 45 minute descent)
  • Angels Crest (5.10b) > Second Peak (approx. 90 minute descent)
  • Rock On (5.10a) > Memorial Crack (5.9) > Squamish Buttress (5.10c) > First Peak (approx. 45 minute descent)
  • All climbing equipment is included. If you wish to bring, and use, your own equipment, please let us know in advance. It is beneficial to practice using your own equipment under the supervision of a professional.
