Granite peaks, stark white snow and a sapphire glacier. With crampons on boots, ice axe in hand, and roped in for fun, your guide leads you up an informative tour up a gentle glacier. This is a beautiful, insightful adventure on one of the local vanishing alpine glaciers—experience it before it’s gone.

What is the Glacier Ascent?
A genuine “must-do” Whistler experience. Stunning alpine vistas, discovering an ephemeral glacier and world-class photos.
This adventure will cover about to 4 km (2.5 miles) of gentle alpine terrain and up to 200 meters of glacier hiking on the ascent walk.

The weather in the alpine can change fast we recommend everyone to bring waterproof clothing.
Warm Layers
It can get cold in the alpine (trust us!). Bring some extra layers to stay warm.
Hiking Boots
If you have your own hiking boots…great! If not we have some you can borrow.
Sunscreen & Sun Glasses
It’s a great idea to bring sunglasses & sunscreen. The snow in the alpine makes everything much brighter! This also happens to be a great rain day activity!
