Marcus was raised in Niagara Falls, Ontario and first discovered the mountains on a road trip to California as a 20 year old. He took up rock climbing and brought his passion to the mountains of British Columbia. Marcus is a graduate of the Adventure Guide Diploma at Thompson Rivers University where he focussed on mountain guiding and instructional skills.
As a Rock Guide, and Active Member of the Canadian Avalanche Association Marcus primarily works on the coast teaching climbing and avalanche skills. He is passionate about alpine climbing and exploration; when he’s not working, you’ll find him exploring local and neighbouring mountain ranges with friends looking for fantastic adventures. “I consider myself very fortunate, I love the place I live and the work I am able to do sharing the mountain experience”.
