Whistler Sky Walk
HIKE UP TO AND ALONG THE EDGE OF WHISTLER MOUNTAIN OVERLOOKING AMAZING MOUNTAIN VIEWS.
This summer, take a walk on the snow and ice atop Whistler Mountain and take in the natural landscape sculpted by ancient ice! Along the way, you will travel back 10,000 years to learn about the formation of the Coast Mountains glaciers.
After the gondola ride to the top of Whistler Mountain, the guide will give you a helmet and harness to wear. The group hikes and when we arrive at the cabled portion of the tour everyone clips into the safety cable so we can all enjoy the amazing views high above Whistler. The hike gradually continues up along the cliff edge and crosses small bridges and ramps.
What is the Sky Walk?
Follow your guide on a hike and clip your harness into a cable so you can walk along the cliff edge and across the bridges and features.
This tour takes up to 2 hours along the way, travel back 10,000 years to learn about the formation of the Coast Mountains glaciers and have a chance to play on the ice and snow.
Min Age: 8 yrs (guests must be a minimum of 16yrs old to climb without a guardian).
All minors: (19yrs & under) require a guardian’s signature on their waiver.

Bring a camera to capture this amazing adventure! If you have a GoPro we have helmets with mounts for you!

It’s a great idea to bring sunglasses & sunscreen. The snow in the alpine makes everything a bit brighter!
