AVALANCHE SKILLS TRAINING 1
Duration: 2 Days
Prerequisites: Average Fitness & Intermediate Skier
Our AST 1 teaches you the knowledge foundational to all backcountry travel. From how an avalanche is formed and how weather affects the snow, to route selection and companion rescue, your backcountry journey begins here!
CREVASSE RESCUE & GLACIER TRAVEL
Duration: 2 Days
Prerequisites: Strong Intermediate Ski/Board Level
Backcountry skiers and alpine climbers learn the three all-important skills: rope ascension, crevasse rescue and glacier travel. This is a great next step to start getting into more complex terrain.
